Holts Tours is the market leader in battlefield tours having been operating for over thirty years during which time we have often been imitated, but never bettered.

When you book a tour with Holts you do so knowing that you are dealing with battlefield tour professionals with exceptional military historical knowledge and dedicated to the success of your tour.

We are an experienced team all sharing an interest in history and travel, committed to delivering quality planning and service, paying meticulous attention to detail and giving you total support, showing a genuine concern for the welfare and enjoyments of your students. Our success is the result of the dedication of our staff and advisors.

Our appreciation of the challenges associated with co-ordinating a successful school trip has resulted in the loyalty of many schools. Our experienced School Tours Executive, Tracey Morgan, has direct knowledge of the trials, tribulations and joys of school trip planning, having arranged and been on familiarisation trips and arranging inbound tours and outbound tours around the world. This wisdom ensures that each tour you travel on with Holts Tours will cover every eventuality and explore every opportunity.

Our balanced travel arrangements and logical planning are complemented by the expert advice we receive from our History and Education Advisor, Malcolm Chandler.

Malcolm Chandler

For many years Malcolm was Head of History at a large secondary school in the South East. Recently retired from teaching, Malcolm remains the Examiner and Principal Moderator for GCSE History at a major examining board and assists Holts Tours in compiling tour itineraries and unique teachers’ support materials. His passion for history is evident in his contributions to the BBC's web sites and his published works for Longman and Heinemann.
