Boulogne-sur-Mer and Nausicaä
Spend one or more days in Boulogne-sur-Mer in the Pas-de-Calais department of Northern France as an introduction to both the French way of life and using the language.

Visit Nausicaä in Boulogne, Centre National de la Mer, the French National Sea Experience Centre - an educational and science centre dedicated to the relationship between Mankind and the Sea. Nausicaä, introduces young people of all ages to the diversity of marine life and its conservation and has a very active Educational Department with many resources for teachers. Close to Boulogne is the nearby resort of Wimereux, which offers a safe beach for games and letting off steam.
You could combine the French cultural experience in Boulogne-sur-Mer with a trip to Agincourt, the scene of Henry V's great triumph, for a Medieval History Lesson including armour, weaponry and armies of the period.
