Standard and Tailored Itineraries
We have made visits to the Battlefields as easy as possible to run, but a little forward planning is always necessary when deciding which option will be the best for your group. You must consider the objectives of the trip, the age of your group and where you will be travelling from the UK.
Whilst our standard itineraries will suit the purposes of most schools, it is important to point out that our Battlefields and Education Department is available to provide valuable advice and to tailor itineraries should you prefer something a little different. Our range of tours not only provides the opportunity for more schools within the UK to travel to the Battlefields and other History destinations, they also provide far more flexibility for those in closer proximity to Folkestone. Your trip may have a later start, a fuller itinerary or more activities. The choice is yours and we are always available to discuss your ideas.
Whether you are experienced or planning your first school visit our staff are on hand to assist you at all times.
To ensure you receive the dates you require simply complete the online enquiry Form. Upon receipt of this we will contact you to discuss your requirements and provide you with a quotation. If you decide to make a booking it is at this stage we will require a deposit to secure your booking. Alternatively if you would prefer to speak to us before completing the Enquiry Form please telephone us on 01293 450 828 or fax us on 01293 455302.
Once we have received your completed booking form, deposit and confirmed availability, we will then proceed with your reservation and issue you with a confirmation invoice together with a Passenger Information List asking you to provide us with the full name of each person travelling in your group, their emergency contact information, passport details and special requests. A final tour pack will be issued approximately one month before your departure date.
All tours can be tailor-made to suit the needs of your pupils and your school. If there are sites that you would like to visit while on tour, whether it be a specific grave or cemetery to lay a wreath, we can include this in your tour itinerary.
