Dunkirk and the Fall of France
Northern France is not too far to reach from the UK. Travel to the area to study about France under German Occupation and the fall of France in World War II.

In May 1940, the Germans launched their Blitzkrieg assault on Belgium and France. The speed and scale of this lightning form of warfare completely out manoeuvred their opponents and by the end of the month the Allied defenders found themselves trapped by German panzers against the English Channel. In response Britain mobilised all available maritime resource to evacuate some 337,000 soldiers in order to be able to continue the struggle against the Nazi regime.
Bray Dunes
On 27th May 1940 Operation Dynamo began the evacuation of Allied troops from the Dunkirk area. Fishermen from Bray-Dunes actively contributed to the reembarkation of the Allied troops. There are many other interesting and well known places we visit such as The Mole at Dunkirk and Dunkirk Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) cemetery and memorial.
Wormhoudt
The cowshed in which members of the Warwickshire and Cheshire Regiments were massacred after surrendering to the Waffen SS has been restored and now stands as a memorial to this horrendous crime.
