This tour gives students the chance to study the story of Anne Frank in Amsterdam and also focuses on Operation Market Garden-the ill-fated operation devised to shorten WW2 in 1944.
This tour departs from the school and overnights on either the Hull-Rotterdam ferry or the Newcastle- Amsterdam ferry. This tour gives schools the opportunity to study the story of Anne Frank, visiting her house in Amsterdam and the camp where she was detained before she was sent to Auschwitz. Schools also spend a day around Arnhem, focussing on Operation Market Garden before returning to Rotterdam/Amsterdam for an evening departure and return to Hull/Newcastle.
